Overview

Polmont Community Radio is made by young people in HMP&YOI Polmont. PCR is made in the media centre where we have a recording studio and have the resources to research and edit the content for each episode that airs.

The team of young people here in the media centre have full control over the direction and flow of each show. Every member can choose what roles they play in the making of the show like editing, presenting, researching or assisting and can create segments on things they enjoy and would like to share.

In addition, the work done by the team will be heard outside the prison on Clydebuilt Radio, Radio Buena Vida and EHFM. Polmont Community Radio is about learning new skills, having positive experiences and feeling good about creating something from nothing.
