We offer a range of workshops for arts professionals at all stages of development and with groups with an interest in devised theatre or socially engaged practice. Our most popular sessions are listed below and can be booked individually or as a package. We also welcome specific requests and are happy to design bespoke creative opportunities for groups or deliver longer residencies to suit all needs. Prices vary and discounts are given for charities, education groups and not-for-profit organisations.

Starting from Scratch

For Teachers/Teaching Artists/Facilitators

Much of the theatre we make starts with a story or a script given to us by someone else. But what if we started from scratch? What if we could make theatre from our own ideas, our own perspective, our own stories? Founded on the core values of ownership, authorship and collaboration this session explores practical ways to support young people to develop their ideas and find their voice through performance.

A Beginners Guide to Devising Theatre

Have you ever wanted to make your own theatre but didn’t know where to start? Do you have your own ideas but don’t know how to put them on stage? This workshop, based on the newly published book; A Beginners Guide to Devising Theatre is designed to empower you to explore seven stages for devising theatre – from first rehearsal to final production.

Theatre in challenging contexts

Informed by our ongoing residency in a young person’s prison, this workshop explores tools and strategies for working in difficult or challenging contexts.  It examines how to work creatively within existing systems and with participants with complex needs whilst nurturing a positive and supportive environment for exciting arts practice.

All art changes the world

A playful exploration into art and activism. This workshop examines possible ways to use creative intervention to engage with the world around us and to ignite dialogue with the general public about the possibility for change.
