Overview

Albert Drive was a large-scale creative project by Glass Performance, Tramway and the local community of Pollokshields. Beginning with a residency in 2011, the project invited artists, residents, and communities in Pollokshields, Glasgow, to explore the idea of neighbour through shared stories, performances, and conversations.

Over two years, the team met more than 1,000 people who live and work on Albert Drive—sharing food, music, memories, and dialogue about what it means to live alongside one another in Scotland today.

The project culminated in a live performance and a feature-length documentary, Albert Drive: Who is my neighbour?, capturing the people, places, and connections at the heart of this community.
